For this project, I designed the gameplay and level to be tight and fast-paced, with the goal that the player must always remain moving and being aware of enemy positions. In addition, I programmed the entire game using the Unreal Engine 4 game engine. This includes the gameplay, UI, menus, and branching endings.
The University of Washington Bothell's Husky Game Dev Club Spring 2021 Game Jam was a two-week event. Its theme was "Erase". I decided to centralize the art style around office supplies in which the player shoots pencil erasers. I held regular meetings with my 3D artist to ensure the art style is satisfactory to the Game Jam's theme and presented the game at the end of the game jam.
